We hereby inform you that there can be security gaps when transferring data online (e.g. email communication). It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect confidential content during transfer, for instance orders or enquiries that you send to us, the site operators, this site uses SSL / TSL encryption.  You can see that a connection is encrypted because your browser's address line changes from http:// to https:// and the padlock symbol appears in your browser bar.

When SSL / TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on our website

Hotel enquiries/bookings via this website
On the hotel booking link, we ask you to enter various personal details related to your hotel enquiry. This data, collected in accordance with Section 6, Para. 1 GDPR, is essential for the organisation and performance of this enquiry and booking and is used exclusively for the aforementioned purpose. Forwarding to third parties and use for any other purpose other than the aforementioned is expressly excluded.
You can amend or delete the personal data saved about you in this regard at any time. The saved personal data is automatically erased by the 31st December of each year if no further hotel booking is made within a period of 12 months.

Cookies

These websites sometimes use what are known as cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer in any way and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our online presence more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files which are deposited on your computer and saved by your browser.

Server log files

The provider of these sites automatically collects and saves information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically forwards to us. This information is:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of accessing computer
  • time of server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is processed in accordance with Section 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we shall save the details in the enquiry form including the contact data you provide for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for potential subsequent questions. We shall not forward this data without your consent.

The data entered into the contact form is therefore processed exclusively with your consent (Section 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message via email is sufficient. This does not affect the legality of data processing carried out prior to revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form is retained by us until you request us to erase it, revoke your consent to it being saved, or the purpose for data saving no longer applies (e.g. after final processing of your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions, particularly storage periods, remain unaffected.

5. Plugins and tools

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the Google Maps function, it is necessary to save your IP address. As a rule, this information is sent to a Google server in the USA, where it is then saved. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

Google Maps is used in the interest of making our online presence appealing and to allow the locations disclosed on our website to be found easily. This constitutes a justified interest in accordance with Section 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

6. Your rights as an affected person

In accordance with legal requirements, as an affected person you can assert the following rights against us:

Right to information: In accordance with Section 15 GDPR, you are entitled to request confirmation from us as to whether we process personal data concerning you; if that is the case, pursuant to Section 15 GDPR you are further entitled to receive information about this personal data and certain other data (incl. processing purposes, categories of personal data, categories of recipients, planned storage periods, your rights, the origin of the data, the use of automated decision-making, and the appropriate safeguards in the event of data transfer to a third country) and a copy of your data.

Right to rectification: In accordance with Section 16 GDPR, you are entitled to request that we rectify inaccurate or erroneous personal data saved concerning you. 

Right to erasure: In accordance with the provisions of Section 17 GDPR, you are entitled to request us to immediately erase personal data concerning you. The right to erasure does not apply if the processing of personal data is required to (i) exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, (ii) fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g. legal storage obligations) or (iii) to assert, exercise or defend legal rights.

Right to restriction of processing: In accordance with the provisions of Section 18 GDPR, you are entitled to request us to restrict the processing of personal data concerning you.

Right to data portability: In accordance with the provisions of Section 20 GDPR, you are entitled to request us to provide you with the personal data provided to us by you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

Right of revocation: You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future.

Right to object: In accordance with the provisions of Section 21 GDPR, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data, requiring us to cease the processing of your personal data. The right to object applies only in accordance with the limitations pursuant to Section 21 GDPR. Furthermore, our interests may be opposed to a cessation of processing, meaning that we are entitled to process your personal data despite your objection.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: In accordance with the provisions of Section 77 GDPR, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your place of residence, your place of employment or of the alleged infringement if you are of the opinion that the processing of personal data concerning you breaches the GDPR. The right to lodge a complaint exists notwithstanding other administrative or court remedies.
